Yup there is. Its all down to the fabric. It really isn't a fair judgement on Ercoles as this is something that when they pressed shrank even further than the original shrink that they do before they cut. It shortened and tightened incredibly, so they had to lengthen and open it up a bit (which would lead to a farther placement from boith the bottom and the center). There is only so much that it can have been altered from the original cut because of how the fabric stretches and shrank...again, a fabric he didn't want to work with but I insisted on. I can't justify getting rid of it, as it still wasn't cheap, and its my only non-cashmere brown plaid. Its certainly serviceable and the issues I (and we) have with it are only stuff people like us could pick out. So until I macigally become rich, it'll due
