Unless you're drinking a gallon a day, I'd say the hormonal issues are negligible. I'd say drink regular milk instead. I drink soy sometimes because I'm lactose intolerant and soy is like half the price of Lactaid/lactose-free milk. It also tastes pretty good. Limit yourself to a glass or so a day and you should be fine.

does it? Im not sure if this is the same but this guy says heat doesn't ruin protein. Same for cooking egg whites I presume, egg whites denature when cooked and turn white but aren't the amino acids what we're after? When we eat protein our body first breaks down the proteins anyway before absorbing them , I think. Im pretty sure just the peptide bonds are broken during heating. From what I rememebr from a&p class protiens are simply amino acids linked together and then folded into different shapes, primary, tertiary or whatever and denaturing just messes with the folds and/or bonds.

How do you get milk outta beans? If you are lactose intolerant they now make lactose free milk.

i would assume the gynecomastia was caused by something a little stronger and less legal than Soy.

You're suggesting he was on steroids? I guess that's possible.

I've not read anything good about Soy. It went from trash crop to cash crop. I don't know if it will hurt you by drinking a little bit, but I wouldn't give it to pre-pubescent kids. I don't know how anyone can stand the taste though. Pretty much the only company I've found for raw milk is this one: http://www.organicpastures.com/. It tastes amazing and you have to drink it within a day or two. It tastes great too but it's expensive. You can drink gallons of this stuff without feeling like you're going to throw up. Be careful though, if you drink more than a glass a day and your body isn't used to it, you'll get some major intestinal problems. Trust me on this one.

... but last time I checked, there hasn't been any report of a moob epidemic in any part of Asia where soymilk is an accepted beverage.
