Sure M. They're #6 shell cordovan from SF member Ron Rider. Ron is the only seller that makes RTW shell cordovan chukkas w/ a slim rubber sole, afaik. Perfect for a motorcycle or bicycle commute, or serious walking. I've had that pair for over year, and they've gotten a lot of wear. His website in the link above will have prices and other styles, leathers and colors. He does MTO for a slight upcharge and you can get really creative w/ him. For suede boots, I'd probably go w/ Alfred Sargents, such as from Pediwear. I have a suede pair of their shoes that I love. They have a MTO program, and I should receive my first pair from it in a few days. It will be my "one shoe." If only someone made an RTW pair of high chukkas like the Sanders George, but w/ Dainite soles, I'd be in heaven. The George (not my boots. The image is from an old UK eBay listing):

^They look like normal leather soles from the side, have great grip, and are very durable. Perfect for secure walking, bicycling, and short motorcycle commutes. Rider's Sestriere version is great too. Vibram's Eton version may be. Haven't tried it.

Yeah, I was going to sell the Romseys because they are an EE fitting, but I tried thicker socks and they are fine. I haven't worn rubber soled shoes for about 25 years (apart from the gym) but I found that I was wearing my "beater" shoes a lot during the rainy season (September to June

) and not wearing my good shoes at all (total waste) so I decided to give these a try. I must say that you can't tell they're rubber soles unless you look right at the bottoms of the soles. From the side they just like like the regular leather soles.
