I used to own a pair of J.Crew chinos in a color listed as 'oregano.'
I'd describe the color as very close to faded pistachio ice-cream green.
Very 'gay' but I often received compliments from women when I wore them.

I had a peach linen shirt I loved dearly. It was destroyed in questionable circumstance, and I still mourn its passing. Liked wearing it with white trou at the beach. Eventually I'll find a replacement.

I'm pretty sure I only bought it because I really liked the sales girl and thought it would make my ex jealous...now I think there was a conspiracy by the both of them to screw me over so it just sits in my closet. I have a pair of pink (kind of a washed out pink) cotton chinos that are sort of reserved for those summer parties that are almost preppy costume balls.

Also, a pair of bright yellow corduroys that I bought last winter; oddly, both "gay" pants are by Ralph Lauren (who, as my wife tells me, also makes the gayest pair of shoes I own . . . tan and white spectator loafers).
