1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Lobo. Must be Lobo. A guy who is hired by the Easter Bunny to kill Santa Claus--definitely my favorite superhero.

Foolkiller was pretty cool as well, but not that politically correct i guess.

[IMG] I love this thread. Some cool picks. Nice to see some Tick fans around here. Edit: And after mulling over it a bit I'd have to say Ditko's Spider-Man is my favourite hero. Original, I know.

For Marvel . . .Daredevil (preference is for the middle Frank Miller era)
My first choice, followed by Wolverine, Green Lantern, Silver Surfer, and Batman.

Not the same source material, but I still recall my Dad reading me the story of Thor's attack on Skrymir the giant, and how the sleeping giant thought the blow of Thor's mighty hammer was an acorn dropping on his head.
