Chamber is still loaded for the other.

Took a trip down to Sky Valet to check out the merchandise. Tried a few of the Vass shoes out, unfortunately none fit properly. The R-Last was the closest, but the arch is just too high. In the end it looks like the only one that might fit my foot is the U-last, I believe in a size 39 (normally 8d or 7.5E).

This means we had to order up a pair, and if they fit I get my shoes. If not they will not hold me to it since the fit is questionable and they want me to be a long term customer. The one I am going for is an oxford medalion, in a tanish color. There was a picture of it here a few months ago and I have really wanted that shoe ever since.

While I was there I tried on a pair of yanko oxford captoes in a tan color and they fit very well indeed. No, they aren't Vass but they are by far the best shoes I currently own. Er, well yeah I couldn't say no even after ordering the Vass.

(I can't believe I ordered a pair of shoes that, alone, cost more than the *two* canali suits I purchased a few months ago.)
