Long-time serious collector seeking Alexander Julian men's apparel and accessories from his better (i.e., not "Colours by Alexander Julian") product lines. Size/condition are not a factor, provided the piece(s) bear(s) one of the attached labels.

The above "price" field requires an input, so the $100 was a somewhat arbitrary choice; however, as to what I'm willing to pay for the best Julian pieces, I can state with confidence that my offers will beat that of any men's consignment or resale store in the country.

My IG feed contains pics of representative pieces and ensembles: https://www.instagram.com/alex_julian_collector/

I suspect if you're a collector you've already researched this a bit, but have you contacted the shop his father started in Chapel Hill?

Alexander Julian is pretty popular among the UNC crowd, so I suspect better consignment shops near campus might get a fairly decent amount of Alexander Julian stuff too. (I hate those damn argyle basketball uniforms he designed though :stirpot:)

Fred:

Thanks for the tip. In fact, I do believe I’ve contacted every consignment store not only in the Triangle, but in every major metropolitan district coast-to-coast, asking politely to be contacted should any AJ come in. The responses from the sub-millennial gals who answer the phone pretty much fall into one of these two camps: (A) “Who’s that?” or, more uncommonly, (B) “We don’t do vintage”.

Even the vast majority of men’s-only consignment stores just can’t be bothered to cater to my (admittedly) niche interest.
