Would you have been a Federalist or a Republican?!

It is hard to imagine how one could maintain personal identity, given changing attitudes, mores, upbringings, etc., over the course of two centuries, so I don't think "I," as I am, could have existed 200 years ago.

Since all the American side of my family were Republicans, our first cousin Dolley being First Lady two centuries ago, I presume I too would have been a Republican.

If we're using the distilled-through-history version, I'd probably be a Republican. I like the notion of strong states' rights, low taxes and spending, and a conservative reading of the Constitution.

Which one requires recognizing the supernatural existence of a diaper wearing hippie who died for a bunch of nomads and market SAs even through nobody asked him to?

As I would have been a member of the mercantile elite (with residences in Boston, rural New Hampshire, New York, Philadelphia, maybe some land in the Northwest Territory), the Federalists would have enjoyed my support.

Conne's side. T.Jeff don't roll with that ****. A real man finds religious experience when confronted face to face with a grizzly bear before he shoots it in the face with a rifle.
