Foo - take a look at some of the Tokihito offerings - I have a couple of pieces and they are superior to the regular Barbour line. And if you order from a UK store, the price isn't a whole lot more than U.S. Barbour retail.

I looked at and considered the Tokihito limited editions. Some are really nice, but I really wanted the classic International jacket, not some contemporary adaptation.

Mafoofan,

I like your plan to leave it original and let time and use authentically wear it in.

Barbour makes great outerwear, as does Belstaff. I personally really like CP Company for a more contemporary Italian take. Belstaff is great, but more classic/timeless.

The correct answer is green hunter wellies. Worn with a tweed cap and a broken shotgun slung nonchalantly over the shoulder. Mafoofan keeping manhattan's highways and byways safe from stray rabbits and field mice.

I had one of those jackets back in high school/early university day, and I just ripped out the thread from the logo. I still didn't really like it. My current Barbour is a kind of field jacket (four pockets, epaulettes, that sort of thing).

Probably the first SF mention I've seen of this company, which really makes great stuff.

Think CP Co. has some great pieces, but I'm a sucker for the history behind the Barbour brand.
