Wingtips: why do you wear them?

I love wingtips which can accentuate the sleek look. They don't have to be brogue of course. EG Beaulieus are my faves.

I have a couple of pairs of Church's wingtips. Very versatile. I wear them with chinos or wool trousers. I have broughs as well for variety. Black cap toe oxfords are my more dressy shoes. All are Church's, before Prada.
