just an interest check but I recently bought the wool/cotton chinos (sz 29, I'm a 30 and these fit perfect) from Roden Gray and might be tempted to part with em. I bought em for 300+taxes, so I'd want 300 flat for (save you on taxes/shipping) em, or if you've got an interesting trade involving W+H F/W items lemme know.

again, these are pretty amazing and I'll probably keep em but I figured I'd see if anyone was really interested.

Anyone have any experience with the flannel zips?
It's getting just cold enough here to contemplate them...

I picked up the blue flannel zip, as well as the brushed wool plaid shirt.

The flannel zip is fantastic, and apart from basics like W+H henleys, it is the most "casual" piece that I've purchased within the line.

My only complaint about my zip flannel is that I want to wear it every single day because it's so easy to wear and comfy.

I have the black flannel Zip and love it. Only complaint is the way the fabric at the hem and to some extent at the buttons looks like it is pulling, almost like it was washed and then dried on hot and shrunk up in an odd way. I guess it's just the intended style. You can see what I'm talking about from fit pics at acrimony or whatever.

Anyone here handled both the SS11 canvas and current season melton wool macs that is able to tell me if the melton wool macs are the same dimensions as the canvas ones?
The canvas one fits me well but I wouldn't layer a thick knit under it- something I'd like to be able to in winter.
Should I size up or is layering accomodated for in the construction of the wool ones?

anyone have any experience with the beanies? There seems to be two kinds--one that is loose and one that is tight on the head.

You've answered your own question? I think they're great, but retail is high and not a value at all. If you can find them on sale, and you almost always can, wait for it.

Everything isn't always as described. It's good to get feedback even if you know the general advised fit. It seems like such a basic thing but beanies that actually look good on me are few and far between.

My Wool mac in small should be here by the end of the week, so I can let you know how it measures up against the SS11 canvas mac...only problem is my canvas mac is a medium, and the wool one I grabbed in a small.

You're in LA right? I stopped into American Rag last week to check out their WH selection and noticed the same thing on the black zip. the placket had a wave effect to it. I love my zip flannels, but these look like the ones I've had and washed for years. The zipper starts much higher from the bottom I noticed too.

Actually Rob from Roden Gray said that there is a recall on them. Roden Gray decided not to carry them because of this defect.
