So, you've performed a proper double-blind test on this?

Measurable != audible.

Yes, and I've also tested recordings I worked on and was in the studio when the musicians were playing.

"Tested" how? Also, how was the double-blind test performed?

Note the elevated ipod dock.

You forgot the green pen for marking the outer edge of your CDs...

I don't buy into that crap. But you see those little magnetic fish on top? I place those around the edge of the turntable. It stabilizes the magnetic field and produces more uniform sound. I can get you some for the low, low price of $69 a piece, or $400 for a set of four.

I wondered about those little pieces of plastic -- they look like parts of a crummy little toy that my kids have where the little fish fit in slots in a rotating wind-up base. There are two little fishing rods with magnetic "hooks" used to pull the fish up by the magnet inside their mouths. Why the heck do you have those?

They look like that, but they are high-performance audio "tweaks."

That, or they're all that's left after my kids (ages 8, 7 and 3) got through with that crummy little game.

Haha. One of the recent audiophile crazes is to buy a $200 magent from Walker Audio and demagnetize LPs. I'm not sure about that one yet.

We should patent the fish and go after the high end market. Order a bunch of magnetized fish in faux platinum and sell them for $500 each. We could suggest to audiophiles that you need 6 fish to be effectively demagnetized.

We would make a fortune and cover our shoe debts.
