Why are my polos fading on the stomach?

My dark pique polos begin developing a pink-ish purple cast on the stomach area after a couple washes and wears. The newer J. Crew polos I have are basically trashed after a day on the golf course. Anyone else experience this and know how to stop it?

are you using your shirt as a face wipe on the golf course?

It's probably a combination of sweating and the fabric dye. Perhaps also without washing the shirts soon after wearing and/or sunlight setting the bleeding effect. It is strange that the problem would occur on the stomach rather than at the armpits.
