I got me a white belt. No, I'm not in karate. I just got a plain white leather belt. It's awesome. The second I put it on I started getting compliments. I also got compliments about my pink belt, but not from people I wanted to hear it from. Are white belts good for guys to wear? What are some opinions on them?

Please tell me you have matching white loafers like Uncle Eddie gave to Clark in Vacation.

Maybe you intended this for the streetwear forum. A white belt can be worn with a white seersucker suit and would be quite a summer look. A pink belt, however, cannot possibly be worn with any suit without looking like a pimp. I'm puzzled by this idea of a pink belt. Is it pink leather? Now, that would be tacky. A pink canvas web belt, however, would be quite decent for streetwear. With what shoes, pants, shirt would you pair this?

Heh, I gotta remeber the streewear forum. It's pink with green whales on it. Yes, I said green whales. It's from Urban Outfitters and my girlfriend bought it for me before we were going out as a joke. It doesn't really match anything, it's just kinda funny. BTW, it's not leather it's cloth.

See, this highlights the problems with having a Streetwear forum. When worn ironically, this belt would certainly be streetwear. But paired with topsiders, khaki shorts and a polo shirt it's classic preppy casual.

Not that I approve of either use.

Clothing is serious business. I never buy clothes as a joke. Maybe I need to lighten up.

I think it'd be stupid to look "trendy" but not like what you are wearing. I have fun with my clothes.

Tell us more about this white leather belt. What kind of stitching does it have? How about the buckle? Where did you get it? How supple is the leather? What do you wear with it, sneakers, loafers or leather lace-ups?

White belts remind me of irritating scenesters from 1999.

Hmm... white belts immediately make me think of girls on camcorder pornsites. They seem to have an unusual propensity for them.

As is said on other forums - this post is useless without pictures or links...

Of all the studded belts -- which I dispise -- this is the most acceptable one I've ever seen. Congratulations.

I own a white canvas Diesel belt with a seat belt style buckle. I wear it with white sneakers. I dare say I look quite dashing in it. Of course, I'm 20 so I can get away with all kinds of stuff.
