White Belt

I got me a white belt. No, I'm not in karate. I just got a plain white leather belt. It's awesome. The second I put it on I started getting compliments. I also got compliments about my pink belt, but not from people I wanted to hear it from. Are white belts good for guys to wear? What are some opinions on them?

Maybe you intended this for the streetwear forum. A white belt can be worn with a white seersucker suit and would be quite a summer look. A pink belt, however, cannot possibly be worn with any suit without looking like a pimp. I'm puzzled by this idea of a pink belt. Is it pink leather? Now, that would be tacky. A pink canvas web belt, however, would be quite decent for streetwear. With what shoes, pants, shirt would you pair this?

Heh, I gotta remeber the streewear forum. It's pink with green whales on it. Yes, I said green whales. It's from Urban Outfitters and my girlfriend bought it for me before we were going out as a joke. It doesn't really match anything, it's just kinda funny. BTW, it's not leather it's cloth.

See, this highlights the problems with having a Streetwear forum. When worn ironically, this belt would certainly be streetwear. But paired with topsiders, khaki shorts and a polo shirt it's classic preppy casual.

Not that I approve of either use.

I saw that GQ did a story about wearing a white belt about a year ago... I dont think it is for me but if you can pull it off then go for it...

Of all the studded belts -- which I dispise -- this is the most acceptable one I've ever seen. Congratulations.

I own a white canvas Diesel belt with a seat belt style buckle. I wear it with white sneakers. I dare say I look quite dashing in it. Of course, I'm 20 so I can get away with all kinds of stuff.
