So I need a new pair of "dress" shoes ( I use that term loosely). I don't plan on wearing these to work, interviews, etc. Just to team dinners, with jeans, to class, out to dinner, etc. My question is, which color do I get. There is brown, black, and the color that particularly intrigues me is grey. Like I said, ill wear them with jeans(dark wash) or black pants. Most of my shirts are also dark in color ( greys, black, navy, etc)

Thanks for help.

Perhaps this is more a sw&d question? When you say "dress shoes" in this part of the forum, people take it very seriously.

Brown are more casual. But if you're wearing black jeans or a black top most of the time, then get a black pair. I'm in the no-brown-and-black-together camp.

Burgundy or Dark Brown. It will go with more or less all dark color except black and is still a very serious/dress color.

Black really only goes with Black.
