What's the difference between these two times of Bal Oxfords?

Looking through the Camina thread, I came across these two photos:

The Bal oxfords on the top look more "regular" and the ones on the bottom photo look longer and have sort of an extended and flatter toe.

Is there a technical or semantic distinction between these two types of shoes? For the types of shoes on the bottom photo, does one's toes extend all the way through the shoe? Do they make the wearer appear to have long feet?

The full-brogue oxfords in the top and the bottom picture are the same type of shoes, but made from different materials and most likely on different lasts. Dimensions of lasts belonging to the same shoe size differ and there are elongated ones which provide a leaner silhouette.

Thanks!

When wearing the elongated oxfords, is it typical for one's feet to look longer than normal? Would this look weird?
