What should I wear with this jacket

Pant, shirt, tie, square color? Solids - patterns.

I love the jacket but I'm having a hard time figuring out what to wear with it. I'm a complete noob when it comes to this kind of stuff. Help a brother out.

Doesn't Manton hate oxfords with odd jackets? Curious to know if this is a personal preference on his part, or a wider Style Forum worldview?

I can see myself wearing more of a casual shoe ( Loafer, Chukka ) then say an oxford but I'm not ruling that option out.

Another question, what this kind of Jacket I should stick to solids for a shirt right?

I think grey flannels in any shade would be great. Dark green moleskins maybe too. For shirts, a solid blue OCBD would probably be ideal, but you might be able to make a university stripe or checkered tattersall work. Brown shoes in almost any shade would fit, and a brown oxford with lots of broguing would work, but I'd prob. go for a blucher, loafer, or chukka, as you mention. Your friend dopey would give you great feedback irl.
