I'll start off with a pretty frivolous one -
The necessity, or otherwise, of pre and post workout nutrition. I used to be a total sucker for eating quick release carbs post w/out and then a whey shake, before a solid meal when home, then before sleep a little top up protein. All total bullshit IMHO, unless your goal is to just get really big and lumpy anyway.
Now just eat as and when my hunger dictates, don't stress about 'post workout eating windows' or 'going anabolic' or any of that snake oil drivel.
