Try to up your calorie intake slowly. This is especially important to people starting off. Also try to base your diet mainly on clean foods (healthy foods).

Screw that. I upped my intake about 1000 cals with half servings of ON Serious Mass and double cheeseburgers for lunch. Gained 10lbs in a week and a half, and my all my SS lifts have improved.

As long as you know that kind of gain isn't healthy or sustainable Don't get me wrong, bulking up is great, but consider that your body will put on about .5lb of muscle per week with proper diet and exercise. So a week and a half, maybe .75lb muscle and 9.25 junk. The important thing is that you're eating enough, your lifts are improving and you can always cut later, but don't always think more weight = good, especially if you're using a gainer
