I just discovered a strange band from Portugal called Wraygunn. Cool stuff. Kind of like Qotsa meets the Stray Cats to play vintage Robert Johnson songs with a female voice and lots of blues harp.

Bite your tongue.

Unfortunately, when I am in the car now, I find myself changing stations until I get to the "Light" station (102.7, now called "Fresh")

I'm only in my 30's. Every other station seems like it is playing crap 90% of the time. I get my rap fix from the post midnight shows, when I can stay up and I'm slowly getting back into the local rock station (92.3) as they changed their format back to rock.

The other night at home, I tuned to the jazz station for about an hour, and I liked it

I tend to sway more towards Neo-soul:

Needless to say I have been listening to:

The new Angie Stone
Urban Mystic
The new Jill Scott
Leela James
Goapele
Raheem Davaughn
The new Rahsaan Patterson
I was keep Maxwell in rotation

I am eagerly awaiting the new Erykah Badu (one of my favorites).

WBGO (88.3), or WRTI from Philly? If the former, check out 'The Rhythm Review' on Saturday mornings, hosted by Felix Hernandez...

I have been straight-up obsessed with the last Burial record-----Untrue. Much warmer than the eponymous record. Think: Pole, Boards of Canada, Prefuse 73 and Philip Jeck jerking off onto a cookie.

Been listening to some old Verve albums. Some real gems I'd forgotten about.

Into Joy Division (mostly Unknown Pleasures) a lot since seeing the Ian Curtis biopic, Control.
