I never saw this in the theater, etc but finally watched last night as it is now on Netflix (USA).

Excellent.

Literally the only 2 lines I remember hearing clearly are "We live in a twilight world" and "I'm the protagonist." Every other line in the movie I had to strain to hear because the sound was a jumbled mess.

Closed Captioning is handy for this situation

This was well done. Fast paced, slightly chaotic, solidly written and acted, and visually inventive. Definitely worth checking out.

Kickass action. Incomprehensible plot and dialogue. (I mean that literally, I couldn’t understand half the dialogue due to awful sound mixing and overpowering score.) Would recommend for the spectacle.

I’m half way into it and fairly lost but enjoying it. It took me a couple of watches to understand Inception. I’m not confident in my ability to ever get this.

You won’t ever understand wtf is happening. You can watch every single YouTube video explaining the scenes and you still won’t know wtf is going on.

dialogue is played backwards when the time is warped

who can not get it

I mean if a car is moving backwards when the time is warped or when the present is accessed from the future (or the past?) how can a dialog not run backwards as well ?

what I liked though is that there is lots of CM menswear on display

Even when time wasn't warped, I could barely understand what the Protagonist, Sator, or Twilight was saying. The sound mixing was terrible.

Tenant reminded me of a funny movie review for Transformers I read years ago where the reviewer said he didn't have any evidence that the script writer was high on mescaline when they wrote it, but he also didn't have any evidence the writer wasn't.
