I'd never seen an Almodóvar movie until my brother wondered if I truly was a cinephile. 'How could you be?'

That was a few years ago. Once in a while I do personal mini Almodóvar festival chez nous to remind myself of his genius.

    Last weekend and upcoming:

    All About my Mother
    Talk to Her
    Volver
    Broken Embraces
    The Skin I Live In

    Masterpieces, all.

Almodovar uses color better than any director working today. Especially in All About My Mother.

PSH inadvertently and publicly humiliated me in 2003. True story.

I have no idea what you just said.

No idea why you would want to re-watch Waterworld but that's just me.

I've had "Always Look on the Bright Side of LIfe" stuck in my head and Netflix is sending me "Life of Brian" :slayer:

Nothing I was just trying to distract you because apparently I don't understand the film either.

    thanks, man.

i saw that, but im still confused. why did he need a ticket sale to sell the new IPO? if its because harry was dead broke, and had no money to buy the new IPO, seth told them that harry was a whale, if they knew he was a just a dude with no money, they would not have allowed the new IPO sale. it seems to me maybe it was a failed attempt on seths part, and the only thing he was able to do, was at least get the sale slip signed so harry could offload the crap stock, unless i am missing something.

im not sure why i care, i guess im just curious, it does not really change the movie, i thought it was excellent either way.

Was it during the filming of along came polly? The basketball scene is one of my favorites in a comedy film.

The 'ladies tushy' is correct, for it did not belong to actress Jean Triplehorn, but to her body double.
Dennis Hopper is also in this movie playing...well..Dennis Hopper but he's always good for laughs. Thankfully, no Dennis tushy.

She was like 43 in that movie. Those are some good genes she's got.
