I appeal to the collective mind, what is this fabric?
I want the same pants !!!
The only thing known is wool fabric.
Maybe someone even knows the manufacturer?

Cordings are one of the leading cavalry twill retailers, personally I find them too heavy and baggy.

Yes, I also think it's a cavalry twill, but I've never seen a two-color cavalry twill.
Therefore, I am not sure.
the texture of the fabric is what gives it the appearance of being 2 colors. You’re seeing a picture. The angle, lighting, etc. are going to make it appear that way.

I doubt, legs are a difficult surface :) the light is falling from all sides, two colors are clearly visible everywhere.
But you may be right.

But you may be right.
that is not cav twill. cav twill is a double twill, such that you have a twill within a twill. here's an example:

some cloths are unique and don't have a specific name. i would just call the fabric you posted a heavy twill.
