I appeal to the collective mind, what is this fabric?
I want the same pants !!!
The only thing known is wool fabric.
Maybe someone even knows the manufacturer?

I'm no expert but it looks like a heavy cavalry twill to me.

Cordings are one of the leading cavalry twill retailers, personally I find them too heavy and baggy.

Yes, I also think it's a cavalry twill, but I've never seen a two-color cavalry twill.
Therefore, I am not sure.

the texture of the fabric is what gives it the appearance of being 2 colors. You’re seeing a picture. The angle, lighting, etc. are going to make it appear that way.

@dieworkwear @Quesjac I would like to hear your opinion.

I doubt, legs are a difficult surface :) the light is falling from all sides, two colors are clearly visible everywhere.
But you may be right.

that is not cav twill. cav twill is a double twill, such that you have a twill within a twill. here's an example:

some cloths are unique and don't have a specific name. i would just call the fabric you posted a heavy twill.

It might be whipcord.
