Pharoah Sanders track, "Love is everywhere" a meditation that quickly build off an initial theme into a call and response mantra... a big hearted and full chested one. Ragged voices that get quiet and the track gently rebuilds. Sander's horn doesn't come in until half way through the track, but comes in gentle playing with the mantra and soaring. Soul music.

I have been on a Jimmy Smith kick! Recently discovered Big John Patton (will post later), and going back to old Philly neighborhood icon Shirley Scott....

I just put 2 and 2 together after watching a ton of hammond players on youtube influenced by these songs.... "Pulling out all the stops" is from organ playing. Man. I'm. slow.
