Balmoral style shoes wouldn't be my first choice to wear with jeans, but you could probably get away with it.

I like that shoe, but I wouldn't wear it with jeans - a bit too formal for jeans.

I would say that shoe would go with any slacks or suit in just about any color but black or the darkest charcoal.

That color is very versatile. That style needs to be more dressed up than jeans in my opinion.

Strand is a better looking shoe. But both would look funny with jeans. Sneakers, chukkas, loafers or bust.
