Ok, so maybe making a suggestion thread with an unknown, new product was ill-advised. Anyway, I ordered the item and I'll give some impressions.

First thing I noticed was the smell. Wow. I've gained an appreciation for leather products recently, and this vegetable tanned leather smells fantastic. Visually, the leather of the bag itself is very soft. Creamy is the word I'd use.

The straps are made of a rougher material. The edges of said straps and the inside look unfinished which gives a more rugged look. Not my favorite aspect of the bag, but it's a design decision so whatever.

Bottom is thankfully made of a more rugged leather. Bag keeps it's form with a rigid bottom.

Zipper looks like a #10 YKK.

Here it is compared to another bag (Ernest Alexander Bedford Weekend bag), and one pic in use. I really like the Bedford bag but it has a different look, and I'll take leather over waxed canvas any day.

I've not used the bag yet as a weekender, so I'm not sure how it will hold up. The construction looks solid though. Same for the leather--it's high quality, and a few scratches won't detract from the rugged aesthetic. I've handled more bags than I care to admit (Filson travel bag, Ernest Alexander, some cheaper J. Crew stuff, etc), and this is my favorite. At $350, it's reasonably priced for a leather bag.
