I am getting married in one month! I need to register for a few things, but I don't know what a guy can register for, it seems like its geared for 99% girl stuff. Please give me some ideas of good things to register for because we only need but so many towels.

My older brother is getting married this Saturday and I got him a Dyson vacuum cleaner off his registry at Target. Not really that manly, but they are seriously awesome.

Basically I would list things that you want/need, but don't want to buy yourself.

Oh, and congratulations!

I registered for bar ware, a nice knife set, and a knife skills class at a local culinary school so that you can really put your new knives to work.

Everything we registered for was for us. I don't mean that in a smart-ass kind of way, I mean it was all household stuff--primarily kitchen items. The only things that we chose individually were a dutch oven and a santuko (sp?) for the missus and a different santuko and a saucier for me.

I've known people to register for camping gear, as well as the other stuff people have mentioned (except video games).

I'm with rdawson; my wife and I registered for things we needed/wanted as a couple"”kitchenware, dishes, flatware, etc., none of which are "girly" unless you're too "manly" to either cook or eat"”not for individual gifts. That seems to me to be the point of wedding gifts.
