Flower power! This jacket is from 1969 when I finished the Gymnasium (something between high school and collge). I was 19 years old then and I can still wear it (after a visit at may taylor). The bow tie and the cap is from the same outfit.
Fabric: Pompelmona by Sven Fristedt, Borås väveri. Taylored by Gulins.

Complete and utter brilliance.

Albert seems to be wearing his Gymnasium-cap (awarded for making one's A-levels), which is thereafter worn on the first of May, for instance. In that context the jacket makes sense as well. For daily wear, not so much...

Yes, you get the cap at the "Student examen", when you are around 19 years old. Almost every swede have a such cap today. And some still use it at a festival the 30th of April when we are celbrating the spring.

This is the best thing I've read on SF in a while. And that's including my own posts. :D

Yeah, I would say that was decidedly average "MB Tuesday." I say break out the 4-piece plaid suit with Widow's Peak lapels, Liberty Bell bottom trousers and a tie tied in a Triple Windsor (I have no idea what any of the preceding might actually be, but if anyone can figure it out, it is MB....)
