hey guys,

I don't know if this is the right section to ask for advice on selling/buying items in this forum, but is there a method to prevent fraudulent buyers from purchasing your items in this forum? (and in that manner, sellers included)

I know that as much as Paypal advertises in supporting seller/buyer in using their payout system.. but researching online gave me little hope, as various attempts to scam people online is still prevalent. Paypal doesn't take full responsibility in its words when it comes to backing up a lot of transaction. figures...

selling cheap items under $100 isn't going to matter.. but trying to sell expensive items ($500+) without any concern is another thing..

any advices/solutions from veteran sellers here?

The best things you could do is - Find out the reputation of the Seller, how reputable is he in the Community - If worst comes to worst, do a chargeback.

The above is good advice. Where are you selling on? Ebay or here? Both?
