Just got back from NYC. Went to some vintage outlets and came home with 5 really interesting and great old leather belts. For the record, 2 from What Goes Around Comes Around and 3 from Goodwill.

I gave them a bit of minimal cleaning up with neutral polish, but here's the prob. The previous owners of 3 of them had larger waists than mine, so there is a raised ridge where the buckle settled into the leather when they wore it. The ridge is not terrible looking, but visible.

Q. Does anybody know how to flatten out that part of the belt without damaging it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
