Picked up these shoes on the way home. There's nothing printed on the shoes or it's faded but they have BFGoodrich soles so they're probably American shoes, the way they punch holes everywhere was quite common in the 40s so it's probably 40-50s (also the sole is a bit spade shaped).

To me the way they put holes all over the upper is the worst style of that decade, but it's a rare vintage pair and only costs $5 so it's not to be missed (Yes , too late for Halloween, people with trypophobia will be scared to death when they see this pair).

I like the holes. Just think of them as reverse brogue presentation and the pattern as the medallion.

The size/code is faded but it fits my feet so it's probably 9.5~10US. :-D

I live in Vietnam so it will be 20 hours instead of 5 minutes ๐Ÿ˜‚

I did end up going back to retrieve the vintage Banister NSTs i mentioned in here about a month ago. They are in like new condition with the exception of a loose scale on the back of the left heel. Finally had a chance to get all the beauty shots done:

They often maligned bicycle toe. This one by Foot Joy

Yes, bicycle toe shoes are often maligned and usually with good reason. I then wondered why I liked your pair and find others unacceptable for my collection. I finally decided the version of bicycle toe I did not care for were usually rubber soled with square toes and the vamp stitches were far apart.

Not a great look. I like the style more when there is an actual dress shoe sole and the vamp seams are closer together.

I like them at one time roughly 20 years ago. Yours look good. They may come back. Heck, baggy pants and pleats are coming back. Why not bicycle toes?!
