I got these shoes off ebay last week for a song, but I can't tell if its alligator or crocodile, or if its real at all. It says "Artmex - Hecho en Mexico" on the inside. I looked up the brand but couldn't find a lot of info. I found a lot women's heels in exotic skins dating back as far as the 1950s, but nothing past the early '70s. They don't feel or look like the horrible embossed cheapo shoes like Stacy Adams and the like, but I just don't know how to fully authenticate them. Can anyone help shine some light?

Those are real, I have never seen any fakes from Artmex

Google artmex and check them out?
