I only got in to FF5 (or whatever...seems to have been released under different versions depending on region...the one with the Job system).
Played it on an SNES emulator on an ancient computer. Some fan translated ROM too IIRC, since I don't think they released it in the US until much later.

Was back when I was a child. Not even sure if I beat it or just spent a ton of time dicking around. I distinctly remember spending an inordinate amount of time in the basement of some castle, killing stone tablets that granted an inordinate amount of ability points, so that I could master a bunch of jobs. Then I could use whatever Job was able to use all of the other Jobs' abilities.

Tried a bit of 6 afterwards and didn't get sucked in.

Tried to start up FF7 a couple years ago on an emulator...and again, just didn't get sucked in.

FF7 takes a while to get into but it's my favorite of the series, and probably the most popular FF.

Anyone playing planet coaster? Looks fun but too much of a time suck.

Anyone still playing Bloodborne? Also, did they ever announce if they are making a sequel to it?

I haven´t gone back to it in months. I finished everything at the beginning of the year, got the platinum trophy and finished the DLC "The Old hunters". It´s by far my favorite game this gen and I´m cautiously optimistic that maybe Bloodborne 2 will be announced this weekend during Playstation Experience.

PoE: 35 minutes until the breach league begins! HYPE!

HS: I've bought 50 gadg packs with gold and including the 6 quest packs I only received 1 legendary (the Paladin one :(). First leg was at pack 38, so not even that great of a pity counter going.

LA and Pierce, nice to see the meta has gone so far since 1.0 :D

Heh. Fotm is definitely blade flurry raider. Blade vortex is still very popular too despite the nerf.
And it's mostly about the poison double dipping in the build.

Anyone at or watching CES?

Razer revealed a triple screen laptop concept.
Nvidia has this new thing called Geforce Now. $25 for 20 hours of cloud access to their GeForce GTX 1060, $25 for 10 hours on the 1080. That means any Mac or PC but not ready to upgrade user, can experience gaming on a GTX1080 without having to actually buy one.

^last update from Nvidia sounds cool but that is going to depend on internet speed right? Still not going to be the same as having your own graphics card.

Now you have to deal with latency to the game server AND latency to your graphics processor!

I have heard the steam link can be kind of cool, but that is using a local network and even then I hear it needs to be hard wired for the best experience.

It says Double Dragon 4 is coming out on Steam on the 30th, but I can't find it on steam.

I'm playing Dishonored 2 at the moment. So far it's a lot of fun to play and the aesthetics are amazing! I really love this series.

I bought myself an Xbox for Christmas I'm a gamer now! I have Skyrim, Doom and it came with Minecraft. Probably made a mistake with that bundle, so much reading and **** to get into Minecraft.
