Vibram vs Commando soles

Vibram makes half soles and heel plates for this. I just had a pair of 1K boots resoled with them.

No those are Wolverine's original 1000 mile boots. They run 325 bucks. They've been nicknamed the 1K boot.

After seeing your pic. I realized we are talking about two different things.
The OP asked about full soles. That's what I was referring to. When you say 1/2 sole I interpreted that as a replacement sole. The intent of the Raptor sole is to add traction/wear and, they resist moisture. Although many shops use them as replacements, they are intended to be used on top of a good firm leather sole.

They were made to order from Rider Boot Company. Ron, the owner, might strangle us both if you try to order them. He had to mix patterns from like 5 different boots or something to make these. Drove the factory insane. "Skull Crusher" was just a term used to describe them by I believe member, MBreinin.
