For all that are curious about the Maryam 1060 boots.

Great looking boots man. I’m digging the contrasting captoe and vamp. I bet they’ll age really well.

I’m trying to keep my rotation small, and I already have 3 light-colored cap toe boots (with natural shell on the way). Otherwise I would have grabbed a pair. Perhaps they’ll release a plaintoe version!

I know. I feel like someday The Culling will happen... ?

It is an awesome leather. Soft and pliable with a slight stretch. Definitely worth holding out for.

Well I hope it turns out super cool. Has me curious and looking at it an the 1071 again. I just noticed they used 8-eyelets on the 1060 and 7 on the 1071 which seems like a weird choice.

That is strange. I didn’t notice that. The description says 8 eyelets lol.

both these and the 1071 in the new release are both "reverse talc" tannage. So the 1071 from Division Road is different than the Viberg release.

I have the Division Road ones. I like them.

I was really bummed that the size 11 from the latest withered fig release was defective. Whatever tool they use to form the vamp ended up burning/marking the leather

Viberg suggested they try blending VSC in that area to minimize the contrast. Richard treated the whole boot to match

One pair was being sold as seconds, the other as firsts (after treatment). I was intrigued by the “dusty” look of the untreated pair, but I took a chance on the treated version and I am not disappointed.

This treated pair looks really good but wait... does that mean the pair of 11 left there are seconds?
