I thought the same and figured it was one of you. Now I can curse someone else.

i always thought somebody there was a 7.5 and bought all the models I wanted. why would you stock a 7 and skip 7.5?

Killing me with the no size 7.5 as well. My wallet is happy though since they are about a 15 min drive away from me here in Calgary and I would have far too many Vibergs if they carried my size.

They got back to me - they just don't order that size:

We did not have it made. There were at a lot inquires about 8.5 and 9.5 so we had Viberg do 1 each. If you are interested in 7.5, we may be able to get one made. Lets us know

Question: I don't like the brass/goldish eyelets on my natty CXL boots. Is this something a local jobber can replace/redo?

Ive heard of this type of job being butchered by some well respected local (to NYC) cobblers. However, I know Sublime and Randy the Cobbler both advertise this service on Alden boots, and have a lot of examples on their respective instagrams or websites, so they might be able to tackle vibergs as well.

Is the consensus to stay away from black boots?

I may be mistaken, but I get that vibe when reading through this thread.

Can anybody either correct me if I'm wrong, or explain why?

I love my black boots, and wear them three or four times a week. But I am not much of a fashion guy..

Tough choice do you have any other roughout or bison boots? If so get the one you don't have

These would be my first pair of not only Vibergs, but my first pair of quality boots.

As of now, all I have is a pair of Timberlands haha.

Speaking of Unicorn / Bison:

Does anyone have experience with grain side black Unicorn?
I'm looking at the Notre pair and worried they are too soft, almost like a Nubuck.

On the other hand - just discovered the Black Pit Tanned Bison from Brooklyn Clothing Co, and liking the 1035 last there.
How does that black bison wear / age?
The bison grain seems SO pronounced - like here and here - which may not be my favorite look...

Any insights/photos to share would be much appreciated!
Getting ready for my second pair after the GMTO Natty CXL from earlier this year and want to try a black boot.
I love the Lost & Found Unicorn Roughout but unfortunately they do not have the 9.5 that I need...

first of Vibergs are on the way......excited to see what all the fuss is about!

Hey Bud. It's about time! What did you get? You should have bought the stuff in my sig.

After having several Aldens, I was astounded at the quality and bulk of my first Vibergs. Now I have 6 pair. =/
