I was on the fence for the mocha's when i got them. The french binding and pull tab grew on me. While i still haven't received the communication about this boot... i wonder if people are going to be kicking themselves for not having pulled the trigger. And now it does look more brown, than a dark color 8. either way its a dope make up..

Some of the pics look like color #8 to me and others look like mahogany. The mocha was supposed to be in-between the two right? The lighting will change the looks as well. Seems right to me, but I do agree they look different vs the journal pics. Probably has to do with the lack of piping.

[EDITED] removed pic since @mogili222 posted the same one

I guess there is chance some were made correctly to spec and will go out as intended? Hey, things done by hand can have several different outcomes, even if done back to back.

Random question, but do you guys put shoe trees in your Vibergs? I have trees in all of my shoes/boots, but just picked up my first pair of Vibergs and was curious.

Ha! I'll probably stick to my normal habits. Now for the boots... Crust Horsehide on the 2030 with a leather sole.

I actually picked them up off eBay, but my guess is they were purchased at one of the sample sales.

I wish retailers would stock the 145 Oxford. I would pick up another pair. Have more service boots to last several lifetimes.

Good find. I had to get my crust horsehide pair with a leather sole through MTO. They are plain toe on the 2045 last which had no chance to be made outside MTO.

A 145 Oxford plain toe on the 2045 last in a good, rugged leather would be an instakop for me. I should reach out to Division Road to see if they would consider doing one. DR has a track record of interesting makeups so it is possible, I suppose.

I recall another retailer that was considering running a 145, but apparently has not as of yet. I have to remember which one but I think the guy posts on SF.
