Not sure if it's due to the size of my trees, but they don't even reach the toe of my service boots, they get blocked at the taper and completely collapse the spring.
which brand of shoetree you use for viberg?

Size of shoe trees matters, also type matters. These are shoe trees:

These are boot trees (often referred to as "Western Boot Trees", but they are not just for western style/cowboy boots):

You can use either in a boot, but I prefer the boot trees. They form to the vamp as it leads to the shaft. It also raises the vamp and toe box slightly where the natural bend occurs and helps reduce wrinkling.

You can use a shoe tree in a boot as well, you just have to make sure you get the right size. Too small will do absolutely nothing. Too large and you will run into a situation where you are stretching the vamp and toe box and/or it won't fit and they get blocked at the taper. A shoe/boot tree should fit nice and snug, with the spring collapsing, but not necessarily all the way - just enough to fit inside without struggling. Always best to work the springs a few times before inserting into the shoe or boot.

Added benefit...they are made out of cedar wood, which helps keep your shoes and boots smelling nice and fresh.

The only brand I would get is Rochester Shoe Tree Company, made in the USA. The cheaper overseas versions generally do not work well and do not last long in my experience. All Alden shoe trees are made by Rochester as well. You can find the boot or shoe versions at a million places online. They are around $30, plus or minus $5. Pricey...yes, but when you're investing in $700 boots/shoes, maybe it's not so much.

Needed some sizing advice. So, I'm a size 9 in 2030, tried the shoe trees from nordstroms in a large, medium and small but only the small fit in the boots. What has been your experience

I just got my first Vibergs in, the mini-ripple from 3Sixteen in natural roughout. Worth every penny! Need some advice on what to treat them with regarding sealant / water & stain repellent / protector. Some have recommended the Tarrago Hightech Nano Protector Spray. Is this what I should use or is there any better alternative or option? Will this spray or others change the color? Any help would be much appreciated.

That's probably due to the narrow pointed shape of the 2030 last. I would try the boot tree instead of the shoe tree - you will likely have better luck since it's shape is more conducive to the 2030.

So I recently got the Chromepaks from 3sixteen and I wore them to work( I am a barista) and they were really slippery when wet, anyone know if they will get better as they break in? Also they are super easy to scuff up. any advice for this, besides not kicking things as much?

I find dainite to be overrated in terms of traction. It will only get worse as the nubs on the sole wear down and are flush with the rest of the outsole.

Chromepak is meant to take a beating. Just brush them with a horsehair brush at the end of the day.

I will disagree on the dainite in terms of as they wear..I have several pair that have 50 plus wears on them and they grip well in wet conditions. The soles are pretty abrasive at this point.

It does take a long time for them to get to that spot though so for a larger rotation of shoes it could take years to get to that point.

Mileage may vary of course.

Did you preorder mini ripples in nat roughout?

Never tried Soller last but I wear the following in Carmina:

Rain, Oscar, Forest, Uetam and Inca lasts in size 8UK

VIberg in 2040 in size 8 is perfect fit for me.

good luck
