Nice pic! Are these from the sample sale?
These weren’t from the recent sample sale. Got them second hand a while back. Seller said they were black, but I’m not so sure they are. I love the color. There are some awesome bronze tones. Could’ve been from a prior sample sale.

Unlined dark brown horsebutt, 2030 last. Such a rich shade of chocolatey brown

I sorta like these - a bit more formal - they look like the Canadian version of an English styled open laced boot.

I like the Halkett pattern. I have two and the facings are different on both. One they come together more on the bottom and the other is evenly spaced. Evenly spaced is more desirable to me, but I think it's the exception to the rule.

I don't like this chart since it's him just marketing products he sells. I wouldn't waste my time on a saphir product for CXL. Its a leather that barely needs anything, just use bick 4 or VSC if you want a bit of shine. I use Ashland's Tanners Blend for restoration on older (like 5+ years no conditioning) CXL, but general care I wouldn't use anything besides bick 4 or VSC.

I just gave my CXL pair a first condition at nearly a year old. I gave Smith’s leather balm a try and it seem to do a good job without much darkening.

Bick 4 and VSC are hard to come by in the UK
