nope I’m going to live with it because … in that video when they were brand new I didn’t recognize it so I’m not 100% sure if I did it or not. I can’t imagine bending it and not realizing it but since I’m not sure it’s fine

They do. Only misses are Dainite instead of leather sole (Viberg said they're not doing SD on leather soles right now, who knows why but maybe it's the high SPI), and struck through Shinki latigo vs. teacore for the tongues (I just never caught it on the invoice). I'm not particularly bummed about either. I was always on the fence about the leather soles in the first place.

I guess the last stitchdown leather sole I can remember was the special one they used instead of the usual double leather on the hatchgrain shell preorder. Dainite's more or less the same profile and I assumed you wanted the edge fully blacked out anyhow right?

Yeah, all-black, unlined, horsebutt, 2040, unstructured was the dream. The rest were details that came from trying to drum up support for a stockist makeup (8 eyelets, and slightly more people wanted leather sole), or from Brett at the event (Shinki, French binding).

I can take or leave french binding for a black boot, but I do wish my black shinkis were unlined
