This suit is a versatile mid-grey, in the double-breasted style that is becoming increasingly popular again. It is from my own wardrobe, having been worn at most a handful of times. It is in perfect condition, with no rips, holes, stains, marks, etc. I am selling it because I simply don't get enough opportunities to wear it. The styling is redolent of the Golden Age of men's clothing, from the 30s feel to the Tautz-esque near-horizontal lapels, to the beautiful silk it is made from and to the overall cut & silhouette.

Jacket:

• Double-Breasted 6x2
• Tautz-esque peak lapels
• Ticket pocket
• 4 sleeve buttons (non-functional, so further alteration is easy)

Trousers:

• Zip fly
• Double-pleats
• Braces buttons
• Side-adjusters
• Turn-ups/Cuffs

Measurements:

• Tagged "Stock 38S", but has been tailored post-purchase to fit me
• I would suggest it would now fit a slimmer 38S, or possibly even a 36S, but you should compare the measurements below for more details.

Jacket:

• shoulder-seam to shoulder-seam: 17.75"
• chest circumference: 39"
• waist circumference: 36"
• length from base of collar: 29.5"
• crown-cuff sleeve length: 23.75" (+1.25" to let down if needed)

Trousers:

• waist circumference: 30" (+2.5" to let out if needed)
• inside leg: 28.75" (can be let down if needed by approximately double the cuff height; see below for that measurement)
• leg opening at cuff: 9.25", for circumference of 18.5"
• turn-up/cuff height: 1.75"
• knee opening (approx): 11" (measured across at about 9" down from top of leg)

Postage:

• The suit will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery (insured & tracked) in the UK, and Royal Mail International Signed For (insured & tracked) for overseas buyers. UK postage is included in the cost, international postage is $30.

Wow, it's beautiful and my size...

Holdfast- how does silk wear? I've never had a suit made of silk before, a sportsjacket that is a wool-silk-linen blend yes but not one that looks so much like worsted. Is it warm, breathe well, what would you say?
