With 23 rooms that place is gonna have 100% occupancy, despite it not being part of the palace itself.

Well it's part of the grounds, right? I think it counts. Very interested to see how it turns out.

yeah but so were the servants quarters on most estates... Nevertheless, it'll be interesting to see what it looks like. I don't know what building they're talking about...

I got an email about this a while back when this was in the works.

My father is a close friend with the VC/holdings people doing it so we're going to do a big family trip and stay there for a week once it's completed.

Do you know if they're modernizing the electrical and plumbing stuff? I'd imagine it would be quite challenging an costly to do so.

It has been done many times by boutique hotels. The trade off is that you pay 700 EU for a basic room.

With this hotel they'll be suites so you will most likely be paying in excess of 1000, much more so in some cases.

GDL, this is a weekend type place I think. I don't know if people who spend extended holidays here.
