What are the chances of Vass doing a make up similar to EG Dover?

JayH, I don't think Vass does an exact EG dover replica. As far as I know their split toes have a more 'vertical' apron instead of the sloping artifact found on the Dover.

Any possibilities of the cognac scotch grain Norweger?
I need one.

Can't see why not. Added.

I'm in for an austerity brogue, u last, plum or brown museum calf (preferably from the revived ilcea tannery rather than haas)

Put me down- still looking for inspiration for a makeup. Currently thinking austerity brogue.

I have a pair of the U last austerity brogues in museum calf but another color like plum or oxblood would definitely be of interest.

How will you folks narrow down your sizes in these varied lasts and shoes? I have been VASS customer for many years and visited their store on many occasions and each time I order it is a craps-shoot. Not to rain on this thread , but to alert you to the fact that VASS is inconsistent in sizing. Everything is larger and bigger at VASS nowadays: heels r taller, soles r wider, sizes roomier.

I would be interested in some chukkas. Could someone PM some comparisons between U and F last. Cheers

Not great lighting but here is an F last austerity brogue (antique cognac) and U last austerity brogue (museum brown).

The austerity brogues do look great in the U and F lasts.

I have 2 pairs of Vass from some 8 years back and I would say the fit is quite consistent with my recently built Vass shoes in the same size and last. I can only speak from my own experience though.

From my dealings with Vass, they do stand solidly by their wares. If things do go awry, Vass is very responsive and obliging in resolving any issues.

The VASS Appreciation Thread is also a great resource for pics if you need inspiration or an idea on what a model will look like in a certain last...
