Hi folks,
I picked up this Loro Piana casual jacket recently, and it has some features inside it I don't understand.
The fastening device at the top, just below the collar, is a suede strip that can pass through a loop on the opposite side of the jacket and be buttoned down into place, holding the top of the jacket closed around the collar. Ok, makes perfect sense. Like so:
But there are three more of these loops inside the jacket. I can't understand what for. There is one behind the neck, just below the loop for hanging the jacket on a hook. And there is one at each armpit. The three can be seen here:
Close up of the loop at the neck:
And close up of one of the underarm loops:
These don't bother me and aren't in the way. But I can't help but feel like there is some purpose for them, which I don't understand. So can anyone satisfy my curiosity? Thanks!
