so, I was asked to give a lesson in synagogue today, on the torah portion. this week is about an afliction that can strike your skin, your house and, horror of horror, your clothes. it seems that if god thinks that you are too haughty, he can aflict yoyur clothes with stains that make you have to throw them away.

being that I am universilly known for being pompous, and pompous is very similar to haughty, I thinkt, then I am fucked, and I am now terrified for my clothes and shoes.

wait - haven't you shed your bespoke, and are now wearing off-the-peg for the time being? No trouble in that, IMHO.

Therefore...before you visit your man-of-the-cloth for new fittings, I'd see a different man-of-the-cloth.

I am wearing a lot of off the rack now, but I haven't gotten rid of all of my bespoke stuff. and I intend to get more bespoke when I am stable weight wise, and that will be at risk too.

It'll be motivation to keep the weight down, at least. My pants are fitting tightly around the waist lately. Too much haagen-dasz and brie. I need to start running before I pop any buttons. Plus, it would be a total pain to have them all readjusted, and they're not exactly throw-away pants either.
