Can people please point me in the right direction for selection of a shirt to wear with a tuxedo. Should it be pleated? Bow tie or the more contemporary skinny black tie? I dont like wing tipped collars so I was thinking plain white shirt with a black skinny tie or alternatively a pleated shirt with bow tie. What are peoples opinions on white shirts with black buttons and no pleats such as the attached?

Your shirt does not have to be pleated. Skinny ties are not correct and will give you a 1980's Huey Lewis look. Black bow tie and non-pleated shirt will do just fine. It is my choice.
