Unstructured.... and a slight trick of the light, doesn't look particularly flat in person @linafelt

That's what I figured, thanks. I know you have lots of experience with White's; can you say something about fit and feel in comparison to White's semi-dress? How is sizing for you? Also, I assume there is not anything near the arch support with Truman, but is there any to speak of? Cheers.

That's what I figured, thanks.  I know you have lots of experience with White's; can you say something about fit and feel in comparison to White's semi-dress?  How is sizing for you?  Also, I assume there is not anything near the arch support with Truman, but is there any to speak of?  Cheers.

Hmm, different boot altogether! Sizing is very similar, although it feels like Truman come up maybe a half size smaller. Due to the arch and amount of leather around the instep and heels in White's they feel a lot more snug if that makes sense. I'm a 8 in White's, D or E and I could comfortable go with a snug 8 in Truman or 8.5 comfortably.

The foot print on Trumans will look smaller though for sure!

Construction, again, similar but different. They are work boots so are not Viberg perfect (if they are) but from the 6 pairs I have they are finished well excluding the odd slight sole overhang. But I am particularly fussy.

Great toe shape, think Semi Dress with a tad more chisel/ taper.

They feel much lighter than White's but I have the Dainite soles and single midsole so will be. White's have a whole lot of leather in their construction.

Small arch support, think the 2030 from Viberg and you are there. They are immediately comfortable though but not arch ease comfortable (if that works for you, it does for me). They feel more hollow inside if that also makes sense.

Overall I think, great shape, feel sturdy and well constructed, more sleek than Whites, particularly without the cap toe. Similar comfort to Viberg out of the box, maybe not as polished a finish and as luxurious as Viberg but currently no where near the price tag!! Really like them on first impression and will be getting a few more styles from them. Plus Vince is a nice and straight forward to deal with.

Be great if the U.S. boot guys would look to add a padded leather insole as part of their build (I know they are work boots!) like some of the UK traditionals as I think it would add that extra missing touch. There's always an insole au guess!!

Hope that helps.

Nice @Kahuna75. Now I need @AndyC to post some pics if he got his today.

Meet some friends after work for some beers, so I just got home. The boots were waiting for me. Fit is spot on. I'm going to wear them tomorrow so I'll upload some ITW pics.
