Tie Bar - Makes Tie Uneven?

Is this normal? Or am I simply sliding the tie bar too far?

The only problem with centering the tie and then sliding the tie bar on is that the tie bar then the tie bar will be less secure to the shirt (compared to sliding the tie over a bit).

What is the solution? Are there any certain types of tie bars/clips that solve this problem? Do you just allow your tie to be a little over to the left? Or do you have it centered and less secure?

Longer bar, narrower tie, or put the bar higher up....
