Thresher & Glenny - Any Experience?

Thresher & Glenny are just down the road from my office. They've currently got an offer of 3 for the price of 2 on MTM shirts (their terminology, not mine), which are usually priced between £95-125 each. I popped in for a quick chat, and the salesman said they take a wide variety of measurements, and can cater for pretty much any stylistic demands you have - they offer different collar styles and heights, cuffs, monograms, different cuff diameters for watches etc.

I'm certainly impressed enough to consider ordering some as my first MTM experience - about £200 for three custom-made shirts sounds very reasonable. The man in the shop said they'd want to get one shirt fitting well before they encouraged me to order more, which felt reassuring.

So, does anyone have experience with T&G? Certainly the rest of their prices look good too - 25% off MTM suits and 20% off Bespoke, though I didn't ask about pricing for either of these.

If I take the plunge, I'll be sure to come back and write up a report.

I have a thrift-store second-hand MTM of theirs. Obviously, I can't comment on fit, but it's a good shirt. It's of medium-weight construction -- not as stiff/hefty in the collars and cuffs as E&R, for instance. Nice fabric, good feel.

Many thanks. I'm going for a last-ditch trawl down Jermyn street tomorrow to see if I can scare up anything that fits me well for less, and failing that I'll be off to see T&G when I'm back in London on Thursday.
